Colorado Wireless Association (COWA)
Online Event
The holiday season is a time for us to reflect on the blessings we have while remembering our friends and neighbors who may be suffering from financial hardship.
This year, the Colorado Wireless Association will conduct the first annual Christmas Cheer project which enables selected financially disadvantaged children to shop for needed items and experience the magic of the holiday season. With our partners from the Sheridan School district, we have identified 75 3rd graders from the Fort Logan Northgate school that are in the most need of this kind of support.
Your ticket purchase and volunteer time will help to create a personalized holiday gift shopping experience for these kids and enhance their holiday experience.
Donations and sponsorship funds will be used to shop for items each child needs or asks for. We’ll then assemble ticket purchasers and volunteers for a “Wrappy-Hour” event to enjoy cocktails and networking while we wrap the gifts. The gifts will then be delivered to the kids at their school on a later date by COWA.
