Beginner Salsa Dance Class + Dance Social | BYOB

Let’s spice things up in our Beginner Salsa Dance Class! It’s a great introductory class to the spicy Latin dance styles. Salsa is considered the king of Latin dances and it is one of the most popular dance styles in Chicago. Salsa is a combination of different dance styles, such as Mambo, Cha Cha and Merengue. It is just like the sauce, “salsa,” a delicious mixture of various ingredients.

In this fun and casual 45-minute lesson, you will learn:

• Basic Salsa Steps
• Simple Turns
• Basic Leading and Following Skills

* Practice your new dance moves at the dance social afterwards!!

Both singles and couples are welcome. To make it a fun social experience and help you understand the roles of leading and following, we rotate partners in class. Rotating is encouraged but optional.

Face masks are optional.
